Do you take a running jump into bed? I do it every night. My wife says it's too childish for a man of 42, but I tell her I'm just energetic.

I do a flying ninja kick into bed. I fear I will never become married, as the prospect of being ninja kicked every night is not something most people look for in a mate.

All the time, I jump on the bed too.. but I have to be careful not to hit my head on the ceiling. I got bored at a bus stop the other day and did some cartwheels in the grass. People often think I'm on drugs or mentally challenged. I'm in my twenties now, but hope to continue such behavior even when I'm your age. I salute your foolishness. :salut:

Ya know, frankly, I'm starting to wonder why I DON'T highjump into bed. Aside from the fact that I'm a thin 260 pounds and would probably burst the casters. Sounds like fun. Why NOT, if you don't damage the thing, enjoy yourself? Why does "growing up" have to be "growing boring"? We have much to learn from kids.

Did it once, messed up my back for a few days. A mattress on the floor doesn't cushion the fall enough.

Always.

Most of the time it's the only way to get to my bed . . .

Trampolining gives him a legitimate excuse for being tired later when he's not 'in the mood'.

What the hell? When I go to bed I'm too damn lazy and tired to make a scene of it. I just fall if anything.

Nope. I don't want to break the bed. But it sounds like fun.

It took like 4 years but I broke out of the habit. I was given some grandma's grandma's bed with wooden parts in it and I must have broken it several times between age 5 and 8 before stopped jumping on it. Then I got a bed on wheels in highschool. It was so touchy that my pulse rocked the bed against the wall.
When I was pregnant, we got a futon on wooden planks., You'd think I'd learn?! By the time my bundle of joy was 3, he was jumping on that bed everyday. We finally dismantled it this year for good and have our mattress on the floor. It doesn't bounce much there. I've tried.

When I was five, I did a running jump onto the couch and broke that too.
