I don't know who's playing, and I really don't care.
I think someone told me, but since I don't care I wasn't listening.

Hello riverotter,

I think it's the New England Patriots vs. the New Jersey Giants. Am in the football pool at work on the off chance that I might actually win money from it, even though that's never happened before.

Am not going to any SuperBowl party, am not interested in either of the teams, and this year feel less attraction to see how cool the weird commercials might be. Am sure there are more productive ways to spend time.

What do you plan to do during the time the game will be on, do you think?

Now if the Packers or the Bills were involved, I'd watch in a heartbeat ... Am not the most knowledgeable fan by any means though.

Pretty cool, xyzyxx,

Sounds like a nice easy work shift.

I was thinking along similar lines, that today would be an excellent day to go out to a restaurant ... as long as it's not a sports bar and there are no tvs in sight. There'd be no waiting for tables, shortest wait ever for service and food, nice quiet atmosphere ... :-)

My family had a similar thought. Unfortunately, all the restaurants we like are closed today so the employees may enjoy thr Super Bowl Sunday... :|

The other consideration being that in those restaurants that Are open, the employees may not be in the best of moods while waiting on customers. So it will depend on the weather. If the sun happens to break through the thick overcast skies enough to make landscape photography worthwhile, I'll go out ... otherwise, it's Sunday hibernation time!

Looks like your family will have to cook gourmet then and save you some ...

My family and I aren't very big fans of sports, so today won't be much different from any other day.

I don't care about football, but since I live in New England, I would've had to have been in a coma not to know about the Patriots perfect season.

But I could care less.

I love the Red Sox, but I couldn't care less about football. It bores me to death.

my sister and her fiance invited me to a superbowl party. i'm not really looking forward to it because i don't know many people there, the people i do know i don't know very well and they probably still think i'm catholic. i also don't care about football. if it was a stanley cup party with people i know then i'd be interested and excited, but i honestly don't care who wins, and find the game kind of boring.

I could care less, really. I'd rather watch real football (Soccer).

I thought the superbowl was played a couple of months ago.

I couldn't understand why folks were still talking about it until I was told it was not until today.

My daughter's h.s. is playing basketball now.. not football.

I only go to the games when my daughter is playing in the band.
When I'm there, I do enjoy watching the games.

I really don't care about collegel or pro sports... too much flash and commercialism.

Patriots will win.
