Most underrated band of all time... My favorite song is By Starlight, probably has meaning to some of you aspies.. check out the lyrics:

Man I love the Smashing Pumpkins and thinking about that song gives me chills. I was in college and basically falling apart when that album came out.
Have you listened to any Zwan?
That is Billy Corgan's new band and they have some very good tunes as well.
The soundtrack for the movie Spun was done by them.

Yeah, the Pumpkins are great! First band I developed a serious obsession over, and every few years I 'rediscover' them and start listening through their stuff with new eyes once again. What is truly great about the Smashing Pumpkins is that their B-sides and rare tracks are often just as strong as most other bands' main albums, so there's always some great new Pumpkins song you've never heard that you'll discover if you do enough digging

And now they're possibly reuniting! Which is a relief since Billy's solo album was mediocre at best... (strangely though, Jimmy Chamberlin's album was incredibly great, listen to it if you can)

Picking a favorite is impossible for me, but the one I've been listening to a lot the last few days has been "The Aeroplane Flies High", a very angry song I've just been in one of those moods...

I love Smashing Pumpkins! My favorite song by them is Bullet With Butterfly Wings

I like em as well, I just don't listen to them often. I should probably get a few more songs of theirs *takes notes on peoples favourites*.

I love Siamese Dream. The others have their moments too (I haven't heard any post-SD albums in their entirety.)
If they're getting back together I'd like to see them in concert.

Did anyone buy Billy's book of poems? I'd be curious to hear your opinions.
