What's up? I'm Devilbuster (Or "DB" for short). I've only just recently been diagnosed with asperger syndrome (Up until that point, everyone thought that I was just ADD), and I'm curious as to how other people might deal with it. For years, I've battled with constant depression, and even though I doubt that I'll be around much (I can barely stand being online, for some odd reason), I hope that I can find some people here that I can finally consider real friends. Or, I'll just end up becoming the most hated person on the forum. It's happened before, believe me. Here's hoping that it's the former, not the latter.

EDIT: Scratch the "diagnosed" part. I just realized that I forgot to be evaluated for AS, though I'm pretty sure I have it. It certainly explains my attitude towards people. By which, I mean that they scare the pants off of me.

I get this feeling that now that I'm finally confronting this frusterating (yet oddly handy) disorder, I'll finally be able to move on in my life. I might even do something that'll put me in the history books.

I'd only insult people if I had an actual reason to do so. Insutling people "just because" doesn't seem to make much sense.

I didn't have any intention to swear in front of der kiddies or otherwise. What do you think I am, crude?

By the way, what does "taken a shining to you" mean?

Hmm... how to put it. If I take a shining to you is the same as take a liking to you. It means I like you, but it has the connotation that it was sort of an instant like, that there is just something about you that endears you to me. In this instance, I believe I was most amused by your topic name!
