You know those songs that you listen to in almost any mood and they put a smile on your face? Your had a great day, or you just had an OK or even mediocre day, or you're even not feeling all that terrific but you want a pick-me-up. Well, if you have songs like that, share them here.

Some of my personal selections (there are more but these are very, very effective):

Barenaked Ladies (My main choice in this case, and I only have two albums of theirs- which I do need to rectify):

Too Little Too Late
Go Home ((My current perseveration/favorite))
Falling for the First Time
The Humor of the Situation
Enid
Get In Line
If I Had $1000000
It's All Been Done
It's Only Me (The Wizard of Magicland) (Especially since I wrote a really self-loathing parody which I always think of, and therefore cheep up when thinking of))
Jane ((This one has special meaning, too))
One Week
The Old Apartment ((Despite how depressing it really is))
Too Little Too Late

Also, most of the stuff on my Doctor Demento CD, and the Monty Python Spamalot soundtrack as well.

I was thinking about Crimson & Clover. I guess I was in too much of a hurry.

One more from me- "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers. Entirely because of the rhyming innuendo. ((Look it up on www.azlyrics.com and look for "And she's touching his chest, now." There's an innuendo there implied by the rhymes that I can't put here directly as it's "mature" but it's very funny; funnier because so many people miss it.))

Really? This is a happy song for you? It's one I play when I'm absolutely sick of anything that has anything to do with romance... Interesting. It's cool to see other people's interpretations.

You think you're a man but your only a boy,
You think your a man, No your only a toy,
You think your a man but why cant you see,
You aint man enough to satisfy me.

I wish I had an angle, so that if people asked me "What's your angle?" I could respond in a decisive manner.

((My typing is horrible; I just noticed because I have that song. Good choice; though it doesn't cheer ME up; it has no effect on my mood.))
