Chat OP time zone issue

It seems every time I log onto the IRC chat there is NO op. I am in the UK and I expect alot of the OPs are ether from Australia or the US which are vastly different time zones from mine, and it's usualy a flame fest which puts me off going on there, the only time I have logged on and actualy seen mods active is in the middle of my night.

When will WP address this issue?

they may never address it

all the ops there are bad

they lie to you to save their own asses, they ban you for stupid little things, and they just are not enough of them

the ONLY way wrongplanet will address this properly is if they get a load of new ops that don't lie or ban you for reasons which don't warrent a ban

THey don't always op themselves (freenode policy is to oonly op when there is a problem), you have to actually look at the userlist to see them and contact them.

/msg chanserv access #wrongplanet <- gives you the op list

then just pm them.

The chat room is managed separately from the boards, so the mods here can't help much with chat-related problems. If GitS' suggestion doesn't help, you could try contacting Alex directly.
