I have started ripping out quotes, tips etc from papers, magazines etc as I think that something insperational can sometimes help when you're having one of 'those days' (which are everyday at the moment!)
So please everyone lets hear them:

I bet Einstein's Mum felt this way too!

(I made that up ... it's what I tell myself).

Everybody is a story.....Everyone's story matters.

Peace begins with a smile.

Live Simply that all may simply live.

When i dare to be powerful---to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.

Death was walking toward a city one morning and a man asked, "What are
you going to do?"

"I'm going to take 100 people," Death replied.

"That's horrible!" the man said.

"That's the way it is," Death said. "That's what I do."

The man hurried to warn everyone he could about Death's plan.

As evening fell, he met Death again. "You told me you were going to
take 100 people," the man said. "Why did 1,000 die?"

"I kept my word," Death responded. "I only took 100 people. Worry took
the others."

I find myself singing this song at least once a day, especially when things seem to be at their worst:

Ordinary Miracle by Sarah McLachlan

It’s not that unusual
When everything is beautiful.
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

The sky knows when its time to snow,
Don’t need to teach a seed to grow.
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

Life is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday;
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own.

Isn’t it remarkable?
Like every time a rain drop falls,
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

Birds in winter have their fling
But always make it home by spring.
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

When you wake up everyday
Please don’t throw your dreams away;
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we’re all a part
Of the ordinary miracle.
Ordinary miracle

Do you want to see a miracle?
ohh ohh ohh, ohhh ohh ohh...

It seems so exceptional
That things just work out after all.
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

Sun comes up and shines so bright
And disappears again at night.
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.
ohh ohh ohh, ohh ohhh ohh...
It’s just another ordinary miracle today.

It reminds me to keep in mind the small steps and personal accomplishments that accompany the negative aspects of living with Asperger's, both mine and my kids'.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”
Dr. Seuss

Very relevant for an Aspie family!

"Good judgement comes from experience, but experience comes from bad judgement"

I picked that one up from the web site of a flight school... :!:

I found one! Courtesy of a catalog that showed up yesterday...

Life if not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out and proclaiming, "Wow. What a Ride!"
