Note Worthy Composer...I used to yse that a lot. I was kind of bugged by the inacuracy of the sound, because I couldn't tell whether or not any of the chords I used to use would've worked in real ife. That and I can't stand midi. I give it all a 6, because none of it sounds finished. I feel tempted to use 2 and 3 and make something myself, but I'd want the files in the programs default format, not midi.

Thanks for the review. An overall 6 isn't too bad. I've added Noteworthy Composer source files to the site now so you can edit the original files I created.

Thanks. If I'm not doing anyhing today, I'll proabably mess around with some of those.

So Sarcastic, do you compose using real live insruments ?

I used to hate midi too. But now i realise i hate General MIDI. Using midi with some quality samples like soundfonts can sound much better.

I don't compose at all. I might take a class on Music Compostion in college, because it's interested me for a loing time. Maybe not college, a conservatory would be preferable. That way I can continue with voice, and maybe pick up acting and playing tuba again. I'm into the arts, but MIDI was bugging me. Now that I have an elctric piano that has chords programmed on it, I might start composing on Noteworthy again, I'm very thankful for the reminder because I had completely forgotten about it.

SarcasticName and Jonny, please will you keep me updated if you finish those remixes of my song?

Here ! !!

May I present to you an AcousticValley song re-arranged by myself. This is The Valley, Movement No. 8. This is the re-arrangment of acousticvalley's Song 8 on his webpage.

(ok pardon the cheesy name, i got carried away)

http://rapidshare.de/files/5935345/Acou ... 8.mp3.html

Song has been updated. Its the same but there was a noticable distortion on the orig version. Hopefully fixed now. I went a bit overboard on the bass (bowed Double Bass Mmmm).

(Recommended to listen with headphones)

yay! im really happy you liked it. Yeah had that confusion and disorientation in mind. The beginning was like short bursts from the cello section indicating some kind of volatility while keeping it slow and building up to something. Also the short single notes on the piano helps with this (your melody) before the middle section where everything gets intense (with a hint of sadness ) an then the ending as you mention bringing it to a melancholic stop.

Im glad you imagined it in a film, cos film scoring is my dream job ! But the film industry is too fast paced for an aspie like me :p

There's a good autistic music producer/arranger on www.auties.org called Akash who helped me make my second album, Mutation. If you are serious about making recordings from your stuff, come and join us.

Warmly,

Donna Williams
