Give answers in inches preferably (or cm if you like) and whether you are fully grown or not along with male or female.

Mine:

19.6 (+/- 0.2) inches. Adult. Male.

(me scuttling around to find something to measure with...)

wouldn't the overall height of the individual need to be a factor as in these stats?
Jus' curious...

15.75" = my cubit

Don't what that means, but that's my data. I'm a relatively small adult female, height = just slightly under 5' 3" (like 1/16" under the 5'3" mark).

So what does this signify?...just curious.

Guess I might add: I am normally proportioned with a petite/normal build. I'm told I'm slightly long-legged for my height, but otherwise normal/small.

T.M.I. Those extra details are unnecessary.

A cubit was a standard unit of measure in ancient times. For more information, see http://worldwideflood.com/ark/noahs_cub ... rences.htm and http://worldwideflood.com/ark/noahs_cub ... _paper.htm

I would like to see how much the cubit has changed in the last 6000 years and what the limits are as to how much it is different from person to person.

If the human bone structure is proportional to its members, height could be computed by the cubit. So, for me H = 71.5" C=19.6" assuming linear:

H/C= 3.65 (+/- 0.1)

So, to determine your height from your cubit:

Height = 3.65 * Cubit

Please try the equation and refine it if you like.

the equation doesn't work well for me, as it says that my height is approximately 150 cm when my height is closer to 170 cm.

That would add to the range then and adjust the "constant".

The cubit was actually variable and determined in advance for specific projects so in effect each construction project be it a building or a boat had a cubit just for it's exclusive use. Each specific cubit was carved into a 'storyboard' and considered a sacred object. In general it was around 18 U.S. Inches but that is a modern determination.

47.5 cm (approx 18.75")

Adult Male

Height = 183 cm (183/3.65 = 50.14, +5.5% of my actual cubit).
