Stands for Mechanized Assault and eXploration. This is the Original, a Sequel (M.A.X. 2) was released later, I don't know how that one faired.



Released in the 90's by Interplay. A high quality "4X" strategy game that didn't get the acclaim it deserved.

Home of the Underdogs (www.the-underdogs.info) are currently hosting it as "abandonware" (to the site's knowledge this game is no longer being published) free-to-download.

had that game for ages , had the second game too, i lost both of them. Nice rts games
