They milked the hell out of this game with expansion packs, I personally liked "Open for Business" expansion the best, it really extended the life of the game for me.

I do miss playing that. I miss all the downloads, too. DX

I used to play The Sims 2 on my PC for a while, but it messed my CD drive up.
I loved playing on the pre-made families and I became obsessed with the characters and Veronaville.

I occasionally enjoy creating the cast of an anime in as university students in Sims 2, trying to get their personalities as correct as possible, letting them do whatever they please, and watching to see if they make it to graduation. So far I've done this with the four fairies from Bottle Fairy, and with Ichigo, Rukia, Uryuu, Sado, Orihime, and Renji from Bleach. Orihime was the only one who flunked out. After one of my silly experiments like these, I usually take a break from it for a while, and go back to it later when I get an idea about another crazy anime experiment to try. I can't wait to do that in Sims 3.

I love making my own families and my own neighbourhoods and just seeing what happens.

I'm afraid I got bored of it after the 'Seasons' pack- the expansions are all identical to the Sims1 ones, but with less items. :(

I played Sims 2 tonnes when it first came out, but have gotten bored with it too. The best part about it is downloading custom content to make your game unique...that's part of why I got bored with it though, I downloaded so much CC that I made my game too slow!

I have OFB and Seasons too.

I can't wait for Spore!! !! I think it's going to be awesome!

The Sims II is great, I found it to be WAY easier than the Sims I, and it's more fun... family lines, leftovers, better food graphics, and such... great game.
