I seem to be getting more GMail invites than I have friends recently :-)

If anyone wants one, just post on this thread (or contact me in some other way).

It's google's upcoming webmail service. It's really good. It comes with 1GB (1000MB!!) of storage and integrated google search so you can easily find on old email about something-or-other. It also sorts emails into 'conversations' which is really nice.

At the moment it's by 'invitation only' as they're slowly rolling out the service, but will probably go public within the next few months...

I've done the registration, but now when I go to http://gmail.google.com/gmail nothing happens, the page stays blank...

Edit: no problem, it's working now.

That's odd. Nothing I've seen before. What Web Browser and Operating System are you using?

I use Avant Browser and Windows 2000.
But it is ok now, it works.

if anyone wants a free 1GB email account but doesn't fancy gmail for whatever reason, www.walla.com do one as well. Small text ads but nice clean interface and virus scanning
