I had been looking for one for months! Not hounding the stores for them, but they were always out of stock whenever I thought to look. When I saw they had one left the other evening, we jumped on it. I consider it for the kids, but after seeing some of the games available, I'll definitely be spending some time on it too! I got Wii Play and Smash Bros Brawl with it - that game is AWESOME! Reminds me of Melee, only better. I love the 2-D platforming game thrown in for solo play. Nintendo thinks of everything.

i thought brawl had some great platforming in the 2d solo adventure.

i'd recommend checking out no more heroes. give it a rental and that'll be enough to see if you want to buy it or just be done after that point. i love it myself but i can see both sides...and i think a rental'd be enough to see if it's your thing or not...just get up to boss #8* and you'll be hooked or done.

*really the fight with #9 seals it with a lot of people but i think #8 has more of a technical challenge to the user whereas #10 and #9 aren't quite as technical in your approach to the fights.

I LOVE this thing! I got Mario Kart and its fun as hell. Its a shame its only standard resolution - on my 55" HDTV it doesn't look nearly as sharp as it would on my 29" standard def. Kinda funny. But what it likes in resulotion (and polygon count, from what I can see its not much better than last gen) it makes up for in simplicity and fun.
