I love old school games so have been thinking for my birthday which is july 6th and my bro has bought all the big games coming out around then Here are the systems I own DS,PSP,Wii,360 and a ps3 has of june 12th with MGS4 WOOT! So I was wondering if their were and games you could reccomend I plan on getting lost odysee with guide and final fantasy 4 ds with my birthday money.I planed on getting a nes from ebay because I love old school games because I plan on getting snes,n64 and other old systems. what do you think. I also planed on getting metal gear and snakes revenge with it and use what birthday money I have left to get other nes games. So do you have any game reccomendations for any of my systmes or nes and what do you think of me wanting to get a nes and do you think its stupid. I thinks asking my fellow gamers was the best.

For SNES I would get FF2, FF3 and Chrono Trigger.

Pff! Metal Gear and Snake's Revenge on the NES? If your PS3 is compatible with PS2 games, get MGS3: Subsistence. Not only does it have the best Metal Gear Solid game (IMO), but also the first two MSX Metal Gear games.

As for old school for NES, SNES, and N64, you can't go wrong with the Final Fantasy games released for those games, but if you have a Wii, and with Virtual Console, getting anything else would be a waste of time. However, as they have shown no signs of releasing them on the VC yet, get a N64 with an Expansion Pack and get Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Perfect Dark.

Maxrebo, don't you have Virtual Console? Or haven't you been able to connect your Wii up?

I have the msx games and final fantsy but I wanna get snakes revenge for its suckyness and nostalgia that and to play games they will never release on VC but I do plan on getting an n64 for perfect dark and goldenye and other games they will never release on VC and I dont want to wait forever for them to stop releasing crap like 5000 turbografx not that there aren't good turbografx games or neogeo, genesis,master system but mario is better than sonic I like sonic but at least all the mario games are playable. That sonic makes me queasy.

For an NES, get some Mega Man games, Castlevania III, Double Dragon, River City Ransom. Can't go wrong with Mario games either.
