I know that my son could never swallow pills. He's 22 and he STILL has to take medication by wrapping it in bread!

Actually, many have been surprised I swallow as well as I do! Since they figured I was NT and had no reason I ever heard of to figure otherwise, I guess there are a lot of NTs that have problems swallowing.

1. I though this was something else. Seriously, this is something I'd expect to see on a child porn/r@ygold file as the name. :P

2. Yes I have, I tended to drink stuff with the pills...I think everyone does that.

This could be because of something else, not just autism.

I have a dash of cerebel palsy.I can't chew certain kinds of meet and i can't swallow pills besides tylonel.

Swallowing? No.
Choking? Yes.

I often choked on my food when younger because I would never chew it properly. There for, most of my dinners used to be mashed vegetables.

I have never been able to swallow pills. As soon as I feel the pill at the back of my throat, my instinct is to gag/cough, no matter how hard I try to override it.

I can just about swallow pills the size of those tiny homeopathic tablets (about 3mm across) if I gulp lots of water and don't feel it going down.

Aside from that, I don't really have any swallowing problems, although I tend to avoid chewy meat etc because I can't chew it small enough to swallow without feeling it. Naturally many of my favorite foods are mashy ;)

I never used to be able to swallow pills until I was about 15. I'm not sure what changed, I think I was sick and had to take some tablets and they didn't come in liquid form. That, and bravado, showing off to my brother.

Yes, largely because I neglected to chew as thoroughly as I should have. I still can not swallow pills.
