That's just what people say if they find no way to communicate with you that they can comprehend.
And if you find no way to make them communicate with you.
Because, for whatever reason, when they do not see communication, it must be non-existent. As if they're the end of all means and as knowledgeable as a God.
I admit, when I was really small, I concluded other people must be unintelligent and disconnected from the 'real world'. I had trouble to communicate with them and to recognise their actions as based on logic and intelligence. Of course, at the same time it made sense to them as they saw things differently from me.
That's why I believe it must be about the same way turned upside down for the people who say autistic people are trapped in their minds.
They just don't see how an autistic person connects to something or someone. And then they find no way to connect back of course.
Oh, my mind is not like a prison either.
My mind is certainly like Ireland, if all other people are in for example India. It is like an interesting and very foreign holiday resort.
