well...being unpatriotic?

I mean isn't it technically the "land of the free" and you can believe in whatever you want to believe in?

I got this from jerry kleins show or somewhere where Americans were saying things like "round up the Muslims" and "tatoo them, so we can tell who is a Muslim" etc etc...

Funny to see someone talking about religious tolerance with such bigoted statements in the signature.

There is no logic to it. Muslim have a bad reputation, we are supposed to hate them. It's irrational and xenophobic, although there are many US Muslims and even one Muslim congressman. Islam is no more violent and stupid than the other religions... well, maybe a little more violent.

I know a lot of Somalis in my area, only one of whom is a Christian. Their type of Islam I don't mind so much, but the Iranian variety I don't care for. Nor the kind of Hamas, or Hezbollah, or any kind that advocates martyrdom.

Although the word "bigot" is used as an insult, it was originally meaning "By God". The Normans were called "By-God's" because they were more conservative than some of the other French who gave the "insult"; it is basically that the liberals were using "conservative" as a curse-word.

I'm not trying to take your opinion away from you. I'm just saying it's a load of ignorant, inflammatory, intellectually devoid horses**t. Atheists have no imagination, wisdom, character? You have the same type of imaginary idea of "the atheist" in your head that some people have of "the jew." The problem is that you're making baseless generalizations about a lot of people you've never met and know nothing about. Some of my best friends are atheists, and they exceed many religious people in terms of wisdom, imagination, and character. But I digress, I shouldn't waste my time trying to deprive you of your fun, just keep fantasizing about your little atheist bogeyman, f*****g hypocrite.

Not on paper, but there are certain people I wish would stop trolling my threads (particularly on topics pertaining to God, Bible, Creation/evolutionism, et cetera.)

I say there are three types of people:

Theists (who accept or are open to the possibility of God, a god, or at least gods),
Non-Theists (people who do no accept God &c, but are not hostile to God &c), and
Miso-Theists (who campaign against God {particularly Abraham's} and/or religion in general.)

I like being "ignorant, inflammatory" and if you have that idea of Jews then where the hell do you actually live? In a hole in the ground? "baseless generalizations", "they exceed many religious people in terms of wisdom, imagination, and character" like who? DOn't answer that I don't care.

Yes you shouldn't. And by the way I'm having fun. I just really annoyed someone today! Hooray! A triumph!

Also why don't you call Jews Jews? I mean "the jew" sounds like you're distancing yourself away from them.

C'mon I can do this all day.

Why did he call you that? It is just one of the standard insults and buzzwords they use. It really has no meaning, just a lot of hot air. In logic it is called ad hominem meaning to "go against the man" or the character of the person they are trying to discredit in words.

I think he's defending himself and trying distance himself from me. He's obviously threatened. Ooooh I love this psychological intellectuality!

I suspect that he thinks he's being smart. It's their way of saying "Hey, look, my view is superior to yours because I don't generalise, I don't do what you do, I'm nothing like you, my words can end this conversation, I'm neutral"...etc..etc... it's all egotisitical bantar.

What do you think of his thinking of "the Jew"?
