Hi everyone... There are lots of forums out there and found this one whilst surfing. Great content and like the idea of number of posts showing there. It really does show that people like to talk, although without a face. When I was diagnosed I was asked if I would like to join a group to discuss "things." Maybe not I thought, so this is for me the easiest way to discuss. Great work. I'll keep in touch because I have a 12 year old boy and I need to know what he will be doing during the "teenage years" when hormones really kick in.

It's finding out what I can put down to teenage versus other issues, and act appropriately.

Hi Aspermlm

I also have a teenage son who was diagnosed when he was 13, now 14 and a very proud aspie. In fact being diagnosed has helped us make sense of many things and understand each other, I was also diagnosed last year, the best part it has allowed us our differences...

So much depends....
My NT son gave me a hard time at 13. My asperger son has never. Other asperger boys exploded.
