What are the cleanest public restrooms in your city? The filthiest? The one with the best bathroom graffiti?

Heh, ok. :)

How about these:

What is a food that people like to eat in your area?

Is it legal to make a right turn on red?

Do people drink sweet tea there?

Revolutionary war - battle of Guilford Courthouse...and Kings' mountain (have to look, I think it was near one of the borders..;)

Civl War - battle of (I think) Bentonville By the time the damnyankees reached the interior, the war was pretty much over. Lots of battles on the Coast (one town was renamed 'Salvo' by the yamndankee captain who shelled it) Fort Fisher was (I think) the battle they showed in the movie 'Glory'.

Rocky Mount - been through it, on 64, on the way to the coast. Used to be the headquarters of Hardees (before that other company bought it...;)

Right turns on red are permitted..;)

Foods we like (well, natives, not necessarily me..;) are NC Barbecue (pig in a blender, through a little pepper and lots of vinegar after it. Pig pickens - a whole animal on a huge grill)
Yoohoo (chocolate soda...yech...;) Moon Pies, cracklin's (not that much, country food, deep-fried pig intestines...I kid you not...;) Lot's of sweet tea.

Haven't done a survey of bathrooms. I'm halfway between Raleigh and Fayette'nam, so it's hard to say...;)

never had scrapple (and never likely to...;)

I thought that was a Delaware/Pennsylvania thing, I've lived here my whole life and never eaten it.

Cracklins?
Here in Georgia (albeit not in the Atlanta area where I live), fried pig intestines are called Chitlins.

North Carolina is very rich in carnivorous plants. They usually live in swamps and roadside ditches. Have you seen any?

Fun Fact:
The venus flytrap arw native to a small area around Wilmington. It lives naturally nowhere else on earth. It has been introduced to Swamps in California's bay area, The Panhandle of Florida, and parts of the UK however. I have a few in a planter in the back yard.
