Has anybody else been born with a physical developmental delay as well as AS?

I was born with hip dysplasia. Basically my left hip wasn't fully formed when I was born and I had to lie in a sort of lead nappy for 6 month. Sometimes I wonder whether that may have contributed to a mental delay as I was restricted in movement when I should have been exploring if that makes sense.

Congenital physical challenges topic

I have moderately severe dyspraxia (unco-ordinated body movements) related to cerebellar problems NOS. I guess the cerebellum did not mature or develop properly in my case. I am glad my three children were not born this way. Had it been my cerebral cortex, I would have been the "R" word. 8O

am have a CP like condition in left leg [it's CP like and not diagnosed, because am gave up being assessed after finding physio too much],it makes am walk all over the place, and the leg has its jerky moments.it can be so stiff that have to walk one step at a time if going up stairs, but am dont consider it disabling.

I had trouble with learning to walk, I had a movement disorder that's probably closely related to autism (and that became much worse throughout puberty), and I have hypermobile joints that caused me problems probably both in learning to walk and in handwriting and some other skills, which I eventually overcompensated for, for a time. I also had a delay in learning to nurse in infancy (my mother says she had to teach me somehow). Also high-arched palate and some jaw "deformities" for lack of a better term. And a few chronic health problems starting very early (some of them run in my family). Some of these are obviously more related to autism than others.
