I have read installments of
The Complete Idiot's Guide and the For Dummies series.

Both give straightforward info about what one
should do about something that's bothering oneself
or give encouragement.

Well?

never actually bought one. Seen 'em in the book stores...

I have a book called "Hebrew for Dummies", which I ought to study, but I'm being lazy about it right now.

Here's what we need: "The Complete Idiots Guide For Dummies"...

Sir, I am SO offended by this thread that my ears are tooting and my toenails twitch! DX

We also need The Complete Idiot's Guide For Trying Which "For Dummies" Book To Buy.

It would be just one sentence long: "Just buy The Complete Idiot's Guide for your problem instead."

We also need "Derailing a Forum Thread for Dummies," and "Offending People For Dummies."

I thought this was gonna be a thread about the electro band Does It Offend You, Yeah?

However, I prefer the Complete Idiot's Guide. Even as a Beatles fanatic, I still own The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Beatles because there's always a little factoid about them I didn't know before in there.

I wouldn't buy one of those books. They have their market, but I'm no dummy or idiot . Really, regardless of their names, the content is not what I need. I go for the more advanced or in-depth books.

What I'm trying to say is that the myriad of self-help,
business, and how-to books make you feel a bit lost.
