A forwarning...you have to have or install Realplayer to listen to this show. I did and had some problems because I forgot to get rid of my security firewalls, but it worked out in the end.
I thought it was a well done program. Les emotionally driven then most (but the title sucks)....
I did think that it was interesting that they a least had one parent with an adult AS child mention that there needs to be more research and help for adults on the spectrum, those who may need it anyway. I also thought the parent of the teen who talked about what a great time it was to be autistic was living in some kind of black and white fantasy land...evidently unaware of eugenics and the idea that we are all computer or engineer or math geniuses(I'mnot) and that our employers understand AS and except it is ridiculous...understand..no, use to make them money...maybe.
Over all, I thought it was interesting and better then some show on autism because at least they admited how wrong they had gotten it in the past and that they still had a long way to go to understand it.....if they are on the right path..highly doubtful but it's always good to know where someone is going if they are going to try and drag us there.
