don't want to work :( hate people
In high school I had so many ideas of different carriers. I can get in to any college in my country. But now I'm realizing I really don't like people. They make me angry and upset and I always argue too much with everyone. So I can't really think of any work that would fit me.
Anyone felt like this? What did you do? Sometimes I just want to be a normal person laughing at the same things - because I think it's funny, talking about the same things- because I find it interesting.

I feel like this, Jicho! I find it much less stressful to stay away from people because the strange (not to me!) questions I ask and the odd looks and finally just being ignored by people that are not on my wavelength at all!
But I had to strike a compromise. I only put up with people at work, when I go home it is me and my cat. I tried to get along with out work, but frankly I couldn't keep up with eating and sleeping on the street or out in the country was problematic in a bad way.
So, if you don't have anyone else subsidizing your life, it is difficult to find jobs that do not connect with folks, however it is not impossible.

I found out too late about my aspiness but if I had knowledge of my condition when I was younger I would have probably been a game warden or maybe some type of biologist or even a researcher. I would have picked a job that better utilized my analytical skills and would have limited my dealings with NTs.
It does seem like there are very few jobs that involve no contact with humans in some way but you can find ones that decrease the time and intensity of having to be around them. I work with dogs and only have about 4 hours of "face time" with people in anyway but even that is to much (because I still have to deal with their stupid inefficient policies and that stresses me out too).
I has helped to work over nights but even ding this has not seemed to completely fix my stress . I am still trying to figure out how to find the "right job" and I'm 44. Have you thought of going to vocation rehabilitation(or your country equivillant) ? I am considering it myself but since all social interactions are full of anxiety, even doing this is hard..I'm procrastinating.
It would have helped if I had a better idea what m day to day interactions of a particular job would be but it seems most "job information" is based around NT objectives..."how much money can I make and how many positions are available in that field."
I would prefer information like...How stupid are the people who are going to be telling me what to do and how lazy are my co-workers going to be.

The best line of work for you would probably be writing. Publish articles and books about the view points you find you argue about alot. Perhaps you have a fresh perspective the world needs to hear. The only people you'd ever have to deal with are agents and publishers, and then only so often... not like day to day.
Unfortunately, the odds of being a successful author are somewhere in the same ballpark as being a rockstar. It can happen, but only to a few lucky nes

It takes awhile to find them, but there are executives out there that stand up for those with disabilities. The director I report to is no-nonsense, but she evaluates exactly what Aspie symptoms are and makes an allowance.

I was/am like that. I just started a job that has me dealing with people all day (sales at a retail store). It actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. As long as I'm behind the register, I feel comfortable and act like I'm talking to the machine rather than the customers.
For the longest time I only looked for work that didn't deal directly with people. I only managed to find a position writing for a website, which didn't really pay so I eventually had to take a "people" job.
Maybe you'd have better luck finding something that is late at night, janitorial?

I work 11:AM to 8PM. Most people 'bond' in the morning and by the time I get there they are lunching and thinking of going home. I take incoming calls from intelligent people asking valid questions that I get to answer and be proactive with what else they might need from our company. I work after they've all gone home and it's just me in the office. Then I kill 45 minutes till my bus takes off, getting at home by 9:00 PM.
I do well at my job, superior, actually, I just had my second annual review. That is a really big dividend from learning I am Autistic/Asperger's Syndrome, I have used my good habits and made me a fixture at work. Which does not mean I do not respond as an Aspie there. I fall apart when I am stressed too much. I work through the meltdown, or at least try to fake it well. I used to go to the 'sick room' and flip off the light and have an aspirin and a bottle of water. They changed all the 'sick rooms' to 'nursing mother's rooms' and although I support that need all the way, they won't let me into them, even if not used because 'if you are sick enough to use the room, you are sick enough to go home when all I need is a dark room, an aspirin and a bottle of water.
I lately negotiated part time work there for our slack season, summer. I am going to have four day weekends until Labor Day. That should give me some time to write and read some books I have been wanting to get into. Lie in the sun and play with my cat. Ride my scooter and get fit. I look forward to it.

I think a better route is a "people" job with someone willing to help you. Why get stuck with poverty wages?
