Hi just want to know if there is anyone here from Australia and if so does anyone know of local support groups?

me from Australia too.
as for support groups try checking with organisations like autism victoria or your states equivalent.
they have various events on.

Australian yes, and nope, not aware of any AS/Autism groups in particular.

You could also search the government-run website of the health service in your area (for me its the North Coast Area Health Service). There's a good chance you will find at least one local group.
