My favorite team is the Boston Celtics. So far they are undefeated (1-0) :D

I started following them about 1960. The starting lineup was Bob Cousy, Sam Jones, K.C. jones, Tommy Heinsohn, and Frank Ramsey, if my memory serves me right.

bob cousy! I learned about him from a video game I used to play on sega! He was really good. Lakers and Celtics, Big time Rivals! The bird and magic days were the best, they were rivals in college too!

On a side note, LAKERS LOST to the suns last night B00000!! !

The Lakers had Elgin Baylor and Jerry West. They were a tough team! :D

Baylor averaged a tripple double!
They also had George Mikan, the first superstar of the NBA, and one of the first "Bigs" of the NBA.

I'm cheering for the Pacers, even minus my favorite player of all-time: Reggie Miller.

I was wondering why I didn't remember George Mikan playing, so I looked him up... he played for the Minneapolis Lakers before the team left for Los Angeles, and was before my time.

My Celtics roster is wrong. Frank Ramsey (the Kentucky Colonel) was a substitute; they had this center at the time, guy by the name of Bill Russell.

Reggie Miller was awesome. The NBA had two great point guards at the time, Miller and Utah's great point guard, John Stockton. Both were a pleasure to watch.

I would have to say the Mavs because I like Cuban, but anymore I dont pay that much attention to pro bball as it lacks even basic fundmentals (like how they call traveling 5 times in the regular season and it should be called 5 times every quarter.)

lacks basic fundamentals? Uh, maybe you watch the wrong teams ay? Basketball is all fundamentals, thats what makes good teams, this isnt and 1 on mtv, this is pro basketball, they dont travel, and when they do, the refs call it :)

I like Cuban also, a great Owner, The Mavs were my second fav team when they had Nash, but I dont watch them much anymore.

Lakers play Wolves tonight, Ill let you know WHEN they win!

If the ball is in your hands when your feet leave the floor, then it'd better NOT be in your hands when your feet touch the floor again, or it's travelling. Unfortunately they stopped calling this a few years ago, and they also started giving players an extra step when dribbling. Also, "palming" the ball is illegal, but almost never called.

Having grown up in Seattle I'm determined to remain a Sonics fan. Things are looking ugly so far, but I'm optimistic! I like the stand the ownership has taken against players who get into scandals off the court. Most other teams will let them get away with anything as long as they can throw the ball in the hoop.
