I registered a little while ago, but haven't really done much. I was diagnosed (after three psychiatrists/psychologists brought it up without prompting) with Asperger's (mild) a few days ago, along with ADD-PI, via neuropsychological assessement.
Basic Stats: I'm 22, male, Southern East Coast American, of Scottish/Irish descent (and probably some amount of others - the family history isn't quite intact) with German influences, 6'0". Don't smoke, drink, nor do drugs. Straight, but no gf, ever, to my eternal annoyance.
Currently a student at $SOUTHERN_UNIVERSITY, majoring in Molecular & Microbiology (M&M - blue, please) and Biotechnology for two degrees, with a minor in Mathematics. I've also been picking up a lot of psychology, including more familiarity than might be expected with Axis II of the DSM (and starting on Axis I), attachment theory, social stuff, and testing (personality, IQ, etc), amongst others.
For the near future, aside from my education, my main focus is on genetic engineering and/with viruses. Specifically, modifying humans in vivo (that is, people who are already living) both cosmetically and therapeutically - Anti-HIV gene therapy (no, I don't have it nor do I know anyone who does), limb regeneration, tails, that sort of stuff.
Hobbies include (this is starting to sound suspiciously like a dating profile..) Art (None of it online yet - trying to work on that between classes), reading (of course), playing with languages (though alas I can only speak English at the moment), guitar and bass, computers (hardware and software), and taking over the world (economically - that political crap can bite my ).
