Yup. French horn, trumpet and bass guitar. My bass is a Rogue 4 string and I use a Peavey 112 amp. I play classical on the horns and jazz and funk on the ax.

My hardest riffs or bass lines to try and figure out are Micheal "Flea" Balzary of the Chili peppers and Victor wooten the others kinda flow better what are your favorites bassists or riffs?

That Ibanez is a sweet axe. And Victor Wooten, wow! Flea is out of my league right now. I play jazz standards mostly but I also subscribe to Bass Player magizine and try to learn the riff of the month - oddly enough that includes Wooten's Palmystery and some Esperanza Spalding (she plays upright, but it transfers well enough). I am also toying with some classical crossover stuff. Beethoven's Ode to Joy rocks on bass for example. :P And I like P-Funk and the Motown lines, too.

Regi and victor wooten go to a local music school near where i live to teach often but the sessions are sold out in a matter of hours.....I think jazz is ok but i have to say victor is amazing i have a song book of his work and its full of just constant 8ths i think there called like the connected notes....

Yea my ibanez plays real well but my music man has a massive pick up that makes it real low sound...But i mostly use the ibanez for easier songs that go fast and need to be recognizable because my five string is meant for jazz mostly i think based on how its so low and it has the low b....

I just get guitar world as far as reading goes but im tryin to find a good bass magazine because they used to have BASS guitar world but then they must have stopped making them

Sometimes I bump into my electric or my acoustic guitars and they make this 'twang' noise does that count?

I knew about the clarinet from your old forum. WOW! That is an impressive array of instruments to play, even for a prodigy that must taken some work.

Thanks. :) I'm not a prodigy, though, just talented.

My dream was to learn to play guitar (especially Jackson Randy Rhoads), but I wasn't satisfied with my results and returned to piano. Now I play synthesizer.

Yea the jackson is amazing and the guitarist who had made it famous is amazing as well he was only bout 20 or so when he died sad death

What i usually suggest to my friends is to learn piano FIRST if they wanted to learn guitar because the chord structure is almost the same..........So maybe you should revisit that dream of yours and make it a reality
