Do NTs ever seems scared or creeped out by you for no particular reason I sometimes feel that way. Last evening I was in Wal*Mart shopping for pillows. I was in the pillow aisle and a woman with her two teenage daughters walked into the aisle from on that was perpendicular to it. I then went to another section of the store and about 5 minutes later came back to look for some pillows again, I turned down the aisle and this family happened to be there, the younger one seemed to be grabbing on to her mother and glancing at me, like she was telling her to get out of that area because i was there.

Common storebrand vanilla-flavoured fear of the unknown. It happens to non-autistic individuals all the time.

It sometimes happens to me that I feel people give me a 'funny vibe', as the band Living Colour put it, which may or may not be related to how I behave/appear to others who aren't familiar with autism. It doesn't happen too often, or I pay little attention to it. Though sometimes it's not related to my autism, but to the colour of my skin.

I have gotten the funny vibe, too, but I think it
has to do more with my long hair. It doesn't
really happen often as I live in the former
heavy metal capital of the world, but when I
travel through smaller towns, I notice it.
(What's with you, Provo, Utah? I just wanted
to know where the post office was.)

Yeah. I don't know why. Coincidence? My body language? Everyone else is a paranoid weirdo? I don't know.

Good. I want 99.99% of them to stay away from me.

I like to think I'm scary, but for some reason I must look fairly aproachable. People are always bugging me.

Them blank eyes and awkward gait makes you look like Renfield scop'n out the next targets for the count.

And don't even try opening your mouth

I've been told that people often find me to be "intense" or intimidating.

Actually, there is one breed of person that finds my weirdness very alluring. That's creepy, obsessive, mentally ill men! Yay!

I have been stalked more than once. This could not possibly be my fault as I dress extremely modestly and I keep to myself.

I told a counselor, jokingly, that maybe I have creep-attracting pheremones. He said yes! Idiot.

People are simply afraid of the unknown and that includes aspies, strangers and the dark.

Also do people ever just look at you when you enter a room or stare at you?

I don't recall anyone telling me that I am scary or anything, but I'm sure someone out there has thought of me has scary.

Somebody once told me that others find me "intimidating" as well! What is that supposed to even mean, anyway??
