I didn't read it but this paragraph is just golden:

Human-frog hybrids might reveal the neurological secrets of autism. By fusing cells from the preserved brains of deceased autistic patients with the eggs of a carnivorous African frog called Xenopus, scientists have started investigating the way the brain cells of people with autism behave.

It sounds like its from The Onion or something . . .but its not.

I think that the eggs can act like large versions of neurons, so they can see a larger version or something fro what I read.

What would an autie frog flap if he had the urge? Tongue?
Would he want to continually find his own lilly pad because the presence of the other frogs bugged him?
What would a froggy savant be able to do that the other frogs couldn't?
As a tad pole would he choose the company of big frogs because the other tads tend to babble illogically?
