Okay as everybody knows im a huge headbanger, i dont think a day goes by without me headbanging. Well anyways on sunday, i love to lay on my stummy and tap my head against the floor, and i was laying on my friends apt carpet, so loved the feeling of the carpet against my head, well i gently wanted to tap my head and this is why i hate tourettes, for some reason i got a weird tic and somehow put more force into that tap and turned into a huge bang, knocked myself out, everything turned white, went numb, couldnt even feel my mouth and my tongue tingled, all my thoughts disappeared, it was horrrrible 8O !

So i knew i didnt have a concussion because i did sleep and woke up, so that was good. I didnt sleep good at all, maybe 2 and half of solid hours top sunday night, and ive been so dizzy its crazy. From headbanging over my life time, like putting my head through walls, glass bottles, floors, hammers, books lol, etc, i noticed i get this weird numb feeling  . Like if i turn too fast or i lay down on my head i get this almost siezure feeling but not a siezure, feels like my soul is about to leave my body, i literally feel like my body is detached for a second or 2, im dizzy more, i seem to more nauseous lately especially today, and i have constant headaches. Well all of this is very more intense today, if i close my eyes i sometimes seem to faint alittle, my head feels top heavy, i get that detached feeling, im dizzy, my head hurts, and etc.

Now i think this time i gave myself a serious head injury, but would a head injury make me have nausea feeling? would a head injury do the things ive said above? would a head injury make me even more sleepy? i dont sleep good because of my serious sensory problems, and my breathing problems. Can anybody enlighten me, or give me any information? :?:

If you think you might have given yourself a head injury, I would go to a doctor and have it checked out if I were you. Go to the ER.

I can't help you out with the other questions because I do not know the answer. :(

It certainly sounds like you gave yourself a concussion. There are varying degrees of concussion, and the symptoms vary. I only know this, because I have done the same thing to myself and had very similar symptoms. There really isn't a whole lot that can be done for it, but I do recommend seeking medical attention- if nothing else, to rule out other possible conditions. :) Best wishes :)

The above posters said everything...

Just to say something positive: It doesn't have to be anything serious.

I didn't knock myself out from head banging yet, but also once or twice felt extremely dizzy, had massive headaches, couldn't see/hear/feel right etc. I didn't go see a doctor (I know I should have, but didn't have time!) and the dizziness and headaches went away in about 1 week.
