I saw Bob Dylan for the first and probably last time in concert the other night.

It was bloody great apart from the swayers/swingers directly in front of me.

I got the tickets last minute and thought to myself "f**k it" moneys tight but money comes and goes but Dylan is going to be once in a lifetime.

I am in awe and completely inspired.

Anyone else a dylan fan?

I don't know that I'm a fan but I read the first volume of his autobiography recently. There's things I like about him.

I am a pretty big Dylan fan.

I got into him in the summer of 2005. One of the things I assigned myself to do was work through the good stuff in my dad's vinyl collection, including Blood On The Tracks. That album seized hold of me and wouldn't let go.

I've got maybe... 16 or 17 Dylan albums on my shelf now. I was going to see him live last time but couldn't afford it. I wanted my dad to take me, but he was umm-ing and ahh-ing about it... and then once it was too late, he said he wished we'd gone. So, I still hold that against him, and next time Dylan's in town, we're going, and he's paying.

My favourite song is 'Isis.' It's three chords, seven minutes and one fantastic story.

HUGE HUGE HUGE Dylan fan. My mom was really the one that introduced me to his music since she still holds onto her 60's generation routes.

One of the greatest poets as well as a musician. He's one of the few white guys that doesn't do some singing in his music.

I was a huge fan, owned all his albums. Not so much now. He's made a bunch of solid albums, though, and his discography is still formidable in terms of the sheer number of strong songs. The albums I still turn on as a whole are Bringin' it All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde, Blood on the Tracks and Desire.

^Those last 4 albums are my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of his music now.

I can't stand a lot of Blonde On Blonde actually. If it was single-record, I'd love it.

He made some interesting music in his heyday, never mind the "authenticity"
