Well, the subject says it all, I think. JayShaw (another member--and one who certainly knows more people here than I do) and I are engaged, and we met on WP. :) We met "in person" for the first time when I was visiting the Washington, DC area (where he lives) for a job interview at the National Archives. I got the job, and I start on January 7th!

Maybe a sticky along the lines of "successful relationships which started on WP" is in order...? <ponders>

Jay and I are real life friends so you to are going to have to come visit me. I live 10-15 mins away from his place. (At least during the holidays). I live about 30 minutes away when I'm at college.

Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS!! ! :D :D :D

First off Mazel Tov to everything seethaki. Secondly months ago before jay met you, he would always complain in chat that he would never be able to find a woman. I'll told him the right person would eventually come along, and guess what? She did! :D Damn I love when Im right!

Thank you for the congratulations, everyone. I know that I haven't been posting much lately, but I couldn't think of a better reason to come back than to express my happiness at meeting someone as wonderful as Jennifer. We haven't set a precise wedding date yet, since we want to make sure that she is settled with her new job at the National Archives before placing the added stress of an impending wedding on her plate. We're going to be spending quite a bit of time together over the Thanksgiving holiday at my mother's house in San Antonio a few days from now. If I'm lucky, I may be able to convince my sister to take a few pictures of the two of us together, which I'll post in the "Post a Pic" folder.
