I am sure I will be labeled an Aspie blasphemer for this, but I am a bit paranoid of Wiki and I try not to use it too much, except for a 1st source of reference to find where else I need to go. But I do not consider it a sound reference source at all simply because it is potentially unsound.

Anyone can edit it at any time. You can't really verify its accuracy. It is generally accurate but you don't know that the version you're using is accurate.

For those same reasons, I like using wikipedia. I don't see it as an objective reference source. If you do, then of course you're going to get suckered. I see it kind of like asking someone you know what they know about topics like 19th century france or different types of knots. Never treat it as gospel though.

It's hot and I'm stuck inside.

Wikipedia has taught me so much.

It also brought me to this site.

i only get on to the wiki when i've got hours to spare, or i'm looking for something absolutely specific - too dangerous otherwise. (this is the woman who reads dictionaries for pleasure...).

Well, if you need any help or need to ask your main character any questions, I'm always available.
