This is just a FUN thread, what do you perceive as a stereo type normal... just turning the tables

Quote: Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it. - Ellen Goodman

Normal is thinking its ok to criticize people with differences, in minority groups (ie.aspies/auties) for speaking out, but think its not ok for them to be criticized back :alien:

Normal seems to be making decisions
based on "gut instinct", even when a
more careful view of the situation yields
a very different state of affairs from what
"gut instinct" would tell you.

A normal person gets dressed in clothes that were bought for work, and drives through traffic in a car that is still being payed for - in order to get to the job that is needed to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house that is left vacant all day so the normal person can afford to live in it.

A normal person will employ various indirect and duplicitous methods to create a false impression of attractiveness, and then reject anyone who does not accept them for who they really are.

A normal person, upon being confronted with a "Wet Paint" sign, will touch the object to see if it indeed wet, yet will also become irate when asked for material evidence for the existance of God.

A normal person keeps pressing the button for the elevator...as if it will cause the elevator to arrive faster.

A normal child bows to peer pressure and tries to be like their friends and to share the same interests and be part of the "gang" and to fit it.

The same normal person will press the crosswalk button repeatedly with the intent of making the light change faster.

The same normal person will keep pressing their car horn when stuck in a traffic jam behind a mile of cars, as though the person in front of them can actually move.

I see that a lot at work and I have told them it's not going to make the elevator come any faster. One of them said it does and then the elevator comes and he said "See?"
I said it was just a coincidence.

I wonder if it's one of their stims.

A normal person doesn't have any medical conditions and isn't on medication for anything. They also don't have to wear glasses or contacts.

Normal is injecting word pictures in people's minds to make yourself seem more likeable and more harmless than you really are. Creating illusions about yourself in others minds basically.

Normal is an imaginary concept that people follow out of some sort of fear.

If you really think about it everyone is "normal" because everyone's normal is different. Normal for me is acting like a complete dork with my friends and singing along to random blairing-loud rock music. :)
Society's version of normal stinks. :P
