Hi I am a new member. I discovered aspergers accidentally listening to an audio book that was given to me and one of the characters was had aspergers. I did some research and a lot of things in my life made sense. I am self diagnosed, but will have should have a official diagnosis in a week or so.

I am a Hot Glass Artist. Interests: Contemporary Art, Glass Chemistry and casting, Marine Science, Garden design, Microwave energy, plus many many others. I am currently building a state of the art glass casting studio, where I am working a marine science series of cast glass fish. I have been developing new techniques in casting detail and developing new equipment also.

Finding out about aspergers will make a lot of difference. I never fit in with normal people. I have very few friends, and have lots of trouble dealing and understanding people. This is first aspergers group have joined. I never really used the internet for chatting with people before, so I am giving it a try.

i love the sound of hot glass - i've been to the Murano glass factory in venice (italy, that is), and it was amazing.
