The Australian Science and Mathematics School
Currently about 22 years old going to an adult re entry school it is ok but it is full of well, people.
The good thing about staying at my current school is that it is 5 mints from where I live and full of older students, and I have friends that go there. It is familiar.
I only need 2 more subjects but I want one of them to be chemistry and the only teacher this school has for chem is a very overbearing man who thinks “its his way or the high way” whom I have many conflict with in the past and he yells at me a lot.
Then I herd about this new innovated school so I did a bit of research and it sounds to good to be true. They seam to appear to take a lot of smart students that could not cope with normal schooling methods. Small, flexible into science, math and teck subjects, no uniform, but I would be the oldest student there one of only a handful of re-entry students. But I don’t know what i should do, any one know about alternative learning? Complete incisions grips me I need some opinions

A great part of our efforts concentrates on our students as individuals. We seek to identify, draw out and develop their qualities, for use in the world of work ahead of them, and their taking a prominent place in the community.
In this specialist public school, which is open to a wide range of applicants, student experiences in science, mathematics and related technologies are fully developed so they can pursue issues of compelling interest and value. Students take part in project-based and interdisciplinary activities, promoting authentic, vigorous and applied learning.
A feature to support this is the incorporation of world-leading information and communication technologies (ICTs). Learning is often located in Flinders University, with the school sited on the campus, and in the workplace alongside university teachers and researchers, industry scientists and technologists. The school ensures that each student's needs and aspirations become known and fulfilled. Each student is supported by an individual learning plan, and a personal tutor. They are honoured as individuals within a close intellectual and social community.
The school is housed in a world class architectural showplace, specially designed to facilitate a wide variety of teaching and learning environments. It nurtures and stimulates teaching and learning to occur at any time, in any place, in many ways. The community of students is made up of young people who have been selected for their aptitude and interest - most of all their passion - for science or mathematics. This includes students from overseas. The students share the best ideas and programs with kindred schools in other parts of the world, through student and staff exchanges, and the use of ICTs. They are the pioneers of a whole new movement to celebrate and practise science and related technologies in ways to fulfill their lives and improve the world around them.

S?cuse me my reason is currently on holiday
While it is very tempting to stay in a familiar environment, and you may be called upon later to deal with "my way or the highway" supervisors, your #1 job in school is to learn. It sounds like you will learn the material best in the new school. Who knows, you might even make some new friends.
