sweeney clearly died at the end of the last one...i'm pretty sure you can't have a sequel with the main character dead...although there have been rather tacky examples such as alien 4, etc.x

Though I liked the movie, I think a sequel would be a plain failure.

Think about this: horror movie sequels always suck, and musical sequels always suck. This would doubly suck. Thank god it won't get made.
