If you don't have the confidence, fake it till you make it. Be rebellious. Present an I don't give a f**k attitude. You don't have to have all the social graces in the world. I suggest entering a scene and dressing in what you think is a cool style. If you can't do that, play the role of the lone rebel. Let loose!

No need for a date. A good f**k will do, though.

Yeah yeah yeah, you know what you gotta do. Hit it then quit it. Hump it then dump it. Eat it then beat it. Tap it then clap it. Deny it, supply it. Beaver then leave her.

I don't have an inferiority complex. I merely have an objective view on my abilities in this world and a lack of the hubris that 99% of the male population seems to have...

I honestly couldn't tell you what style is in style at this point... they always end up moving too quickly for me... As for what I would wear on my own, it's normally based on comfort and functionality, not necessarily "being a rebel"...

Quick, blunt and to the point.

Also, in before "BUT YOU'RE A GIRL, YOU HAVE NO IDEA". :D

Oi, that was a joke. I meant it to be sarcasm, but I don't seem to see a face here that conveys beyond a doubt that something is sarcastic. I should just do the *sarcastic* thing. I would have to say that I guarantee that a lot of girls know what it's like to be alone.

If you want to watch a man do a song and dance pay admission to see a show. Otherwise, don't go on a date unless you're interested in getting to know someone for the purposes of romantic pursuits better. That would be the real person. The person they are going to be when they get off work and don't have time to put on a facade involving clothes and a whole different mindset. Because that's the person you're going to be dating most of the relationship. Now, men be yourselves on a date, and women, don't force men to do a song and dance that will do nothing but prevent you from figuring out if you really want to date them or not. Quit wasting each other's goddamned time.

Sorry, I never knew you were being sarcastic because a few guys on WP have stated the same in all seriousness. I absolutely can't stand it when they say we have it easy.

I was just saying that projecting an image ( that fits your personality) can your foot in the door, figuratively speaking.

How would one know what kind of image to project? I tend to try to be myself and I don't get far. Most of my friends are females atm but I don't think I could see myself going out with any of them or knowing how to approach. Not close to any of them but I think I probably known them for long enough to be consider just friend material.

RGiJapan, you just gotta plant your feet in front of them and tell it how it is. "You going to go out with me."
