Pretty much anything strange rare and unusual.

Philip Glass recordings.
I also have several versions of Koyannisqatsi,.... VHS, Laserdisc, pre-production dvd signed by Godfrey Reggio, and the production DVD.
Used to collect rocks....have some nice pieces on the matel and a shoebox full of raw agate I collected on my trips to Northern Wisconsin.

Decent art collection going...several pieces from a few of my favorites/friends.
Started collecting guns but decided to put it towards motorcycles. A good decision for me.

I'd like to collect cars/motorcycles but they're too expensive for me. :(

I used to collect garbage pail kid trading cards when I was a kid.

I collect fun and bizzare objects that have stories attatched to them. Like when my dog dies i'm gonna chop off her leg, stuff it, and put it on a mantle. Because we spent 2 grand puttting it back together, it is probabally worth more than the rest of the dog put together.

I have gone through "collecting phases", especially when I was younger. Action figures, trading cards, Warhammer stuff. These days I don't collect much. I usually just buy stuff if its what I like, but I couldn't see myself spending extra money on something just because its "rare" or it completes a set of something.

Oh and...

While I don't really collect anything in the sense of trying to complete a set, I have huge collections of many, many different things, including graphic novels, Magic cards, PSP games, various pieces of Japanese import-merchandise, Transformers robot toys, rhinoceros-related paraphenilia, books on whales and dolphins, and anything related to the Marvel Comics character " Iron Man ". Through all this collecting, I only buy what I actually planning on making good use of, reading all my books, playing all my games, and putting all my toys on display as opposed to leaving them sealed in an airtight closet like many I've heard about.

Having all this crap surrounding me gives me an unusual sense of sanctuary :)

I have a huge collection of baseball cards (probably big enough to pay for a year of college (not kidding)).
