Lion King and Titan A.E.. My Lion King obsession is what helped me get diagnosed. Can't figure out why I like Titan A.E. so much I just do. I only bring it up if it fits the conversation or if someone asks but then I usualy drop it because I don't want everyone to know I like "people movies" but I think about it all the time. I was even working on a Lion King/Titan A.E. crossover but a virus ate it and I'm far too busy right now to write another one. Plus I made so many changes to the plot such as it happining on another planet, during current time and a major city being wiped out instead of the whole planet, even causul fans would tan my hide if they read it.

I tend to do that with my obsessions - plan out these crossovers between all of them. Like what you said, I bet other fans would get upset with me if they knew about it. ^_^;

Hey pinkiepie, have you ever talked to CockneyRebel on here? She's a big Flushed Away fan herself. I think the two of you would probably get along great.

my childhood obsession was Sam Peckinpah's "Convoy". I still like to watch it when I feel miserable.

I was kind of obsessed with Ingmar Bergman films at uni but after I wrote my thesis about his Trilogy I sort of lost all interest.

nowdays I'm more obsessed about stuff like camerawork and technical side of film making, not so much particular films.

Clueless
The Rules of Attraction
White Oleander
Amelie
Chocolat
Breakfast at Tiffany's

^ I like arthouse films too, but I'm not obsessed about them to the point of watching them repeatedly. These have been fairly consistent and I know them pretty much by heart. In 9th grade, I watched Clueless over and over again and never got any sleep.

i and two friends (sometimes one, sometimes the other) watched Trainspotting every day it was at the dollar theater, which was two weeks.

i watched Donnie Darko over and over again until I got every aspect of it. It took many viewings, and lots back-to-back.

Oh let's see, the only two I remember obsessing over before 2000 were Jurassic Park and Twister. After that it was the LOTR trilogy. With that, I ended up going through a OCD spree of seeing the three films in theaters, 6 for the first, 12 for the second, and 18 times for Return of the King (thank god for $2 theaters). Besides those, Donnie Darko, Children of Men, Leon: The Professional, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie, Serenity, and currently the Dark Knight and WALL-E.
