Congratulations are in order.

As a result of a 31-21 victory by the Green Bay Packers, the
Detroit Lions have now become the first time in the modern history of
any professional sport to lose all their regular season games.

Let's have a big hand for the Detroit Lions, everyone.

LOL

Actually they have a poor coaching staff that the head coach was fired already along with the Browns' Head Coach. The Jets Head Coach stated he will not be coming back as their head coach (fired) after losing 4 out 5 games at the end of this season.

At Least Zorn will be around still for Washington, I just wanted Colt Brennan to start instead of Jason Campbell.

Yeah, and I got to listen to Detroit radio sports guys complain about it--hooray for me! I'm going on a conspiracy theory here and positing that W. C. Ford (who owns the team) is moving the team to Alabama to follow the auto industry. Seriously, though, at this point, Ford is so old that he doesn't have to worry anymore what the fans think of his team, because he's already reaped the benefits of an insanely loyal customer base.

It wasn't just that their players were awful. It wasn't just that their players were awful and the coaching was horrible.

It was that the players were awful, the coaching was horrible, and they drew one of the toughest schedule in the NFL.

It simply did not allow for any mistakes and the Lions made plenty. In this era of parity, draft, salary caps, etc, no matter how bad you are, you can always hope for some team to make mistakes as well for you to capitalize on. Almost every team in the NFL could fumble or have a bad snap or muff a punt at some point, but you have to not make mistakes when those things happen.
