I love to play with words.

If you do to, you'll love the following site....(and you've probably already seen it).

http://www.unwords.com/alpha/s0-ALL.html

Days/weeks worth of laughter there.
I'm going to update my signature every few days or so with new unwords.

Bonus points to those who can use the unwords in a sentence.

*(I'd give out cookies but I ate them all :( )

I’ve always loved this stuff!

Does anyone remember a comedian named "Rich Hall?" Back in the 1980’s, he used unwords in his comedy routines, calling them “Sniglets.”

He also published several books of Sniglets. I still have one copy lying around here somewhere. Also, I have some Sniglet comedy vignettes from an 80’s HBO show called “Not Necessarily The News.”

I thought it a bit odd that Rich Hall isn’t mentioned at all on that site. Not that he actually created the idea of combining words, but many people probably still associate him with the idea. I remember him using many of the words I see on the unword site.

Rich Hall is the best. :D My favorite Sniglet is "Pig Slice"...that's the last slice of pizza left that everyone wants, but no one wants to pick up because they know if they pick it up, they will be thought of as a pig.

synchro, I even remember a short special Rich Hall did where he was a salesman for the "Junior Seed Sales Club of America" and he rode around in either a pedal car or maybe it was a soap box derby car (I can't remember which) - I really miss his slightly warped humor....I can so relate to it :)

That was called "Rich Hall's Vanishing America," which I just ordered through Amazon. :)
I don't recall seeing it, but he was always a favorite comedian of mine so I ordered it. Apparently, Rich Hall is still active doing television and tours in the U.K.

I love this site! My favorite words so far are "adorkable" (adorable + dorky) and "ambulament" (guys hoping for something chaotic happening when they hear a siren).
