So, everyone has a story to tell, a unique way of experiencing life. No matter how long you've been on this planet, life has certainly taught you a lesson or two.

For me, I have learnt not to judge others on face value. What you see, is not necessarily what you get.
Another thing, you don't always get what you deserve.
And Without hardship, you cannot appreciate ease.

I'm sure there are more lessons which I should have picked up along the way, or maybe at this moment I just haven't realised them.

What has life taught you?

The main thing I've learnt is that, in today's world, other people are not the source of happiness. Unlike what my parents raised me to believe.

People will be nice to you and then be mean and then be nice because they want something.

Businesses still do illegal firings and it's easy to get away with. Just do a loophole.

"Few minutes" can mean up to a half hour

When giving eye contact, you are not supposed to keep your eyes glues to them, look away like every few seconds and then back up.

When a woman asks you if you think she is fat, you are to lie to her by saying "no" even if she is fat.

"Everyone hates Americans"

The world doesn't evolve around us

It's okay to torture your autistic child because they need to learn how to be flexible and don't give rats if they have meltdowns or have an anxiety attack

Spoiled brats say their parents stole from them when they take something away as a punishment

Some spoiled brats call the police on their parents saying they get abused because they didn't like being punished or got told to clean their room

Also, when someone asks this question, you ain't meant to look at them then say no, you just say no straight away.

When most people ask, "How are you doing?", they don't really want to know.

-don't ever focus or expose the things you can't do. Focus on the things you can do!
-Take every complement with a pinch of salt. Don't let it get to your head
-Do the things you enjoy doing, not the things other people tell you you should enjoy doing

Anyone you work with is not your friend. Many do not outgrow high school. Politics is a complete waste of time. Self-control is key to success.

Politics is no waste of time at all. If you don't have extraordinary abilities, then being good at playing politics is a wonderful option; it can get you very far in terms of money and/or power.

Being nice can take you far but don't let people take you for granted.

Know your limits, don't promise on what you can't deliver.

Don't always assume that people know what we're talking about when we go on a rant.

This is the one that has made a difference in my life: Don't let the fact that we have AS control our lives.
Acceptance of our diagnosis is a big thing.

Lot of people are black and white when it comes to politics and religion and they act like a bunch of aspies who haven't been taught to respect other peoples POV and opinions and know the difference between facts and opinions. They are even inflexible when it comes to church. They can't miss it.

Eh.. I have learned today, in fact, not to post stupid polls on this site. I tried to make it right, but posted is posted. At least I got some nice answers.
In general I've learned that it's good to learn from ones mistakes, but it's even better to not do them in the first place :D

I learned on I2 that putting someone on your ignore list means that other person won.

It's ok to make mistakes as long as you don't repeat them. I'm talking about things you regret and that you never should have done in the first place.

"Acquaintance is not friendship, don't imagine it is. Just because you are prepared to be nice to someone, don't expect them to be prepared to be nice to you."

Learned from, well, just about every social group I've ever seen.

"I just want to be friends" really means they are totally rejecting you and want nothing to do with you. Instead of telll you the truth women lie to make themselves feel better and have no respect for you when they lie.

Women are evil manipulitve demons from hell.

Thats what I've learned from a life of total rejection.
