as noone has started a thread about this game i thaught i might aswell do it, what do you guys think of the game? personally i love it, it plays well and Ea really now have a grip over the genre, one improvement though is the movement when you're off of your skateboard it is really sluggish and i think it needs improvingbut at least now we dont have to run around for at least an hour just to get to one spot to do some grind down a stair rail

I've only played the downloadable demo on xbox live market. I think it's improved from the older game, mainly in controls. But at the same time skateboard games have gotten very old in my opinion so I like them all less.

havent played it,but it better be good as they have killed off the tony hawks series for it.

it's great, the walking controls are kind of awkward but you can easily get used to it, the coustomization system is so much bigger, but there's no more skateshops, like Regs' and instead of owning a skateshop slappy now owns his own park and accually skates, as far as i know the community center doesnt exist anymore, but this definately kills the tony hawk games.

yeah the skate games I pretty good and yeah I ws disapointed with tony hawk proving ground (wii) the controls sucks it takes 10 billion tries just to kick flip or hard flip sucks but what's better then the skate seris is real skateboading and me and my freinds always say the real thing is alwasy better.

i haven't played it but i'm interested in it i was always a fan of tony hawk until the last few games Ive heard the skate 2 character creator is bad all the options are ugly and Ive also heard the controls are oversensitive you have to be extremely exact to pull off the right trick and that there aren't enough game elements to it its a bit to much of a simulation [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcCAK9lKYhI[/youtube]
