As per the subject, what is the best compliment you have ever received, the one that you have appreciated the most?
I have been thinking about this because recently, someone special to me told me I was a 'good woman'. Just that. No one has ever said that before to me, and I loved the simplicity. To me, it said more about them than me, I think they are too good.
When I was in drafting class at a technical college while still in high school, my instructor would tell me from time to time, "You make my job easy. I wish all my students were like you. You're a natural, it's like you were born to do this." Compliments like those are always very nice to receive, and I knew he wasn't just saying it either because there were some downright stupid people in that class and it did seem that I made his job easier, because I was one less idiot he was having to devote his time to.

"you are a real pleasure to work with and I am glad you are here".

My mother used to say this to me. But I laugh about it now, because I really don't like to argue... I hate confrontation. But bring up something worth arguing about and I can argue. And when I realize I am wrong, I will continue to argue because I'm an idiot who never learns.
