Have NTs ever hurt you, or annoyed you to the point you became depressed?

Up till a few years ago constantly. They've caused many problems, and yes, they basically made me depressed.

My 'problems I have had are nearly always caused by neurotypicals. Especially being fussy about people how they interact, dress etc all pisses me off.

I was bullied so yeah. Plus I was treated like crap in high school because kids didn't like me joining in on their conversations and I was labeled as not caring. Plus I was always told to pay attention and I struggled trying to understand the teachers and their instructions and they hated me asking questions. When I was 18, it was better because I was accepted by freshmen. They liked my company and didn't give me a hard time like the other students did.

No one can cause you to feel any emotion without your cooperation.

They annoyed, bullied and abused me but they never made me feel depressive.

I find it easier now that I realize how I'm being manipulated and have enough status to refuse to accept it. I used to get very depressed though and it was usually over something like a mean joke that I just didn't get. That would depress me for a day. Being bullied upset me but didn't depress me - perhaps because I could feel good about myself for refusing to react.

Yes. I have to avoid them as much as possible for my own health. Too bad they are my parents.

I'm pretty sure that's just what they do. I think NT really stands for "nonstop torment."

They don't take me seriously in that I bet they find it hard to see me as someone who might have personal issues.
I used to but now that I'm sixteen I've got to man up and change my attitude and stop feeling sorry for myself.
I did used to be crazy depressed for a few months that I never want to remember.

I have existential depression due to everything NT's do in general. At least now I know (or can guess) why. F the nay sayers.
