What's your favourite band/music genre? Feel free to share with us what you love about music here! Thanks.

Classic rock, early heavy metal. My preference ranges from the classic beat of the Beatles to the hard and loud grooves of Led Zeppelin, from the wild behavior of AC/DC to the terrifying fantasies of Iron Maiden.

But my favorite band is definitely Pink Floyd. I first listened when I was 3 (I was eavesdropping on my dad), then again 10 years later after finding the LPs. It really was nothing I'd heard before and that's how I got attracted to it. Actually, nearly all the shirts I wear nowadays have Pink Floyd on them.

I love heavy metal/punk/rock.

I like anything from the 60s to the 90s, although not much of now. The only thing I really don't like is pop music. I like rock and metal, although I don't count nu-metal as anything good, though I do like System Of A Down, but they arn't that Korn type stuff. My two favorite bands i would have to say would be Metallica and Soundgarden. Although St.Anger is terrible. Those first 4 albums are classics. I also like older country music quite a bit.

a Tribe Called Quest, AC/DC, Alicein Chains, Bruce Springsteen, the Beatles, Black Sabbath (My favorite), Deep Purple, Eminem, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix (My other favorite), Mastodon, Metallica, Megadeth, Nine Inch Nails, Notorious B.I.G., Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Pantera, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, the Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Run DMC, Rush, Sex Pistols, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Suicidal Tendencies, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, and the White Stripes.

I love mostly classic rock, but some of my favourite modern bands are Augustana and Thriving Ivory. They are AMAZING. They just make you want to jump into a pick-up truck and take a roadtrip, you know?

Alison Kruass...Bluegrass. I love music because I can easily express myself through music. It's sort of my way of showing emotion. And i can connect with people who love music like I do. I've connected with my choir teacher (usually in school I am in my own world) because of the passion for music.

I Heard Indestructible on the radio, later I was playing Guitar Hero III, I noticed the verses to that song and Stricken were almost the same.

I love alt rock / rock, and like every other type of music except for classical and im not crazy for jazz.
