Ironic, given that I've resented people with more obvious disabilities being cut more slack. But I was slack-jawed upon hearing about this, all the same.

So what's going to happen when a child comes to a school and they are missing a body part? Are people going to complain to the school about that child attending because that kid is scaring their kids?

That's not very "diverse" of them.
The people making the complaints need to get lives and get over it already.

What matters most today is your skills, experience and characteristics necessary to succeed in a job/career or to contribute to the success of a company or project, NOT your disability. Cerrie Burnell, the disabled TV host, should continue to do what she loves and ignore the haters.

I find it disgusting... Taking it out on someone else for things beyond their control, and aiding the development of cruel behavior in children in the process.

"How do you explain to a three year old child why one of the hosts has half an arm?" By telling them WHY they have half an arm, Duh! Like.... DUH! Hello! How hard can that possibly be? Oh wait, you're "pure" and superior right?

I'd like to see pictures of these 'oh so perfect' parents. That should be interesting huh.

The solution to fear and hate towards disability(and minority in general) is MORE inclusion, not less, god.

I can understand where they're coming from. It might sound selfish, and it is, but I don't like seeing people with missing limbs. It kindof creeps me out.

Of course, I don't write complaints about them because that would make me a jerk.

In Nelson's case it was more than just an arm it was also a case that he only had one eye. I think shame on all those persons who suggest that the lady with only one whole arm scares the kids.

You might notice that somepeople look different becuase they are missing things like hands, but never be nasty you never know what might happen. You might lose a body part becuase of disease or an injury.

I think that the parents are being mean minded nasty bigots
