Hi Lemon,
Im quite new to the forum so I havent talked to you before.
First I want to say I like your cat. It looks like its handmade of the old fashioned way, great artwork!

Well to be able to give the cat a fair name I had to dig the theme of the topic it refers to. Spontaniously I think a great name of it has alredy been mentioned:

"CATTITUDE"

its easy, short and seemes to be a kind of manner of the thread in general and mostly an expression in the whole cat itself so I vote for this name of it!

Because I assume that "THREADKILLER" would be a name with quite some lack of fantasy

and by the way, I absolutely ADORE cats, so watch out for a new avatar of mine!

I think you should name him Magnus, after my cat. He is named after Magnus Carlsen from Norway who is a chess grandmaster who just turned 18. He is our hero and my BF saw him interviewed and said he acted like an aspie.

Put a piece of string in his paws and call him Thread Killer.

He looks like a wise cat. He probably thinks more than he speaks, hehe. How about 'Bamber' (after Bamber Gascoine who used to ask the questions on University Challenge here in the UK. He had the answers written down but you knew he knew them anyway )

(I like your avatar xalepax, we used to have a black cat who looked like that. :cat:)

Thanks for liking it, I worried a bit if the avatar would give a "too much cruel" impression, with the rough face expression.
Well I tell the story around it. Its my own cat. This photo is taken in the kitchen when my husband was about to give her shrimps. That is the most delicious things she can eat and she was very very eager and exciting.
She is simply in a very good mood and meowing for dear life telling him to hurry up, lol.
Now she lie on her pillow next to the computerscreen and stretches her paws in the air. Its one of her absolute favourite places to sleep :D

So, wonder what name the cat of the topic gets at the end

hm, sounds all interesting, can't decide yet ...
yeah, i have it difficult choosing names, it's like it has to be some kind of 'bing yeah, that's his name' experience or so ?
we'll get it sorted out, won't we ?
:D

Here are some ideas for the cat's name with a "thread" motif:

Weaver
Fray-Check
Stitcher
Loomer
Serge
Spindle
Bobbin
