i herd the new season will start next year

Yeah, it's a great show, even though he pisses me off sometimes
Check out the comedy stand-up special "Killing them softly", its a real classic stand-up set IMO

The "show" will be returning, but it will just be a compilation of episodes and skits that didn't make it into the other seasons. They aren't approved by Chapelle and apparently this was one of the many factors leading to his withdrawl from the show.

My daughter told me that a lot of prominent African-Americans are upset with Dave Chapelle's portrayal of "them", and that he's being boycotted or something. So sad. I thought it was refreshing to see someone make fun of everybody, besides which, Dave is just plain brilliant and hysterical.

I thought Dave left because he just wasn't happy with the direction the show was going, plus he was starting to lose his mind a little bit. It might be true that season 3 is without his approval, but he decided to leave before that, which is why they're making a 3rd season that's sort of incomplete, with only the video skits, but not his opening/hosting the show.

I agree, its by far the funniest show on tv! One of my favorites as well!
